Supply Chain Management Lead

SilverBow is an independent oil and natural gas company, located in Houston, TX. We develop, explore, acquire, and operate oil and gas properties, primarily in the Eagle Ford shale.

SilverBow is in search of a Supply Chain Management Lead experienced in contract, supply chain and vendor relationship management in the exploration and production or related industry. Lead will coordinate logistic plans with operations, materials requests, perform inventory control and tracking for assigned locations and operations areas. Maintain communication between field operations, materials, and procurement personnel to ensure timely deliveries and transfers. Position will be based in Houston, but will require travel to and from all field locations as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, evaluate and manage the number and quality of suppliers to meet business needs for each good and service category
  • Identify the sources which are key to the company in financial, operational and strategic terms
  • Maintain supplier data (e.g. capability, performance, contracts) in the appropriate information system (e.g. Oracle/EU)
  • Coordinate supplier contracts and ensure responsibilities for technical and commercial contracts are defined
  • Develop process for well reconciliations for all materials for well, well site facilities, etc. This includes Drilling, Completions, Facilities and Ops.
  • Conduct physical inventories both quarterly and annually and train others in inventory and material management process.
  • Process inventory and maintenance invoices for payment
  • Ensure Material Transfers are issued by stakeholder and are processed timely. This includes well to well transfers, inventory to well / well to inventory and based on COPAS and or CEPS guidelines.
  • Conduct and administer surplus and obsolete sales of company assets
  • Prepare and communicate reports as required. (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly and Annual)

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of supply chain and vendor relationship management in exploration and production
  • Oracle/EU experience
  • Advanced procurement and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and corporate goals

Financial Analyst

SilverBow Resources, Inc. (NYSE: SBOW) is seeking a Financial Analyst to assist with all aspects of the Finance and Investor Relations department. This individual will be part of a cross-functional team that plays a key role in Company decisions with high visibility to senior management. To be successful in this position, a candidate must be a self-starter, possess a high degree of intellectual curiosity and perform well within a fast-paced environment.


  • Create and maintain complex corporate models; analyze financial projections and synthesize key insights and takeaways for communication to executive team
  • Evaluate key valuation drivers, thematic views, industry trends and thoughtful questions that warrant further investigation
  • Support budgeting and planning process and development of annual KPIs
  • Manage monthly budget and forecast variance reporting for senior management, and effectively and concisely communicate important information to the organization
  • Conduct deep-dive fundamental research into Company and industry trends, meet with investors and analysts, attend industry conferences and monitor market dynamics
  • Prepare investor relations materials, including corporate presentation, press releases, earnings script, 10-K/Q filings and website maintenance
  • Assist in an active M&A / A&D program, including pro forma modeling, due diligence processes, presentation material generation and preparing investment recommendations
  • Drive process improvement, automation and new-idea generation across all core functions

Required Education/Experience:

  • 1-3+ years of banking, corporate finance or related oil and gas experience
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Required: Financial modeling/valuation experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Virtua, Workiva and/or Spotfire a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Accounts Payable Supervisor

SilverBow is in search of an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the accounts payable department and ensure the accurate and timely recording of all accounts payable activity. To be successful in this position, we’re looking for a self-starter who wants to work as a member of a busy team, is interested in learning new skills, and is flexible and adaptable as priorities change.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervision of accounts payable staff and departmental programs and processes; provide guidance and assistance with troubleshooting and issue resolution within the department; Provide effective direction and feedback through performance appraisal system to achieve company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Support staff training to deliver the required skill sets and competency levels to meet business needs to include technical, interpersonal and software skills
  • Build and maintain positive relationships and interdependencies with staff and contractors through effective communication, with adherence to company values
  • Regularly outline departmental goals and ensure the staff understand these goals
  • Timely approval of various documents, reports and correspondence (i.e., weekly payment register, voucher review, etc.)
  • Implement accounting processes related to new initiative
  • Oversee annual 1099 reporting and compliance including review of vendor maintenance update forms
  • Ensure timely compliance and proper documentation of monthly closing schedule
  • Oversee preparation of quarter-end account reconciliations and schedules for internal and external auditors
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley processes and procedures


Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of Accounts Payable experience; supervisory experience preferred
  • Open Invoice and Oracle experience required
  • Expertise in SOX processes and procedures
  • Advanced analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment to achieve team, department, and corporate goals
