  • On May 5, 2017, Swift Energy Company changed its name to SilverBow Resources, Inc. Along with several of its subsidiaries, its primary operating subsidiary, Swift Energy Operating, LLC, was renamed to SilverBow Resources Operating, LLC on June 30, 2017.
  • This was simply a name change from Swift Energy to SilverBow Resources, and there is no change in management of the Company or, most importantly, day-to-day operations. Business has continued as usual. The name change does not affect the rights of the Company’s mineral owners, vendors, security holders, or other counterparties.
  • Please print and fill out the change of address form found on this website and mail, fax, or e-mail it to SilverBow Resources.
  • Yes. If you would like to receive your royalty payments via direct deposit, please print and fill out the direct deposit form found on the this website and mail, fax, or email to SilverBow Resources. Please note, if you elect to receive direct deposit, you will no longer receive payment detail by mail. Your payment detail can be accessed through SilverBow Resources' Owner Relations Online System. Direct deposit is only available for United States bank accounts.
  • Yes. If you would like to view and print your check detail online or have it emailed to you each month, please register on SilverBow Resources' Owner Relations Online System.
  • Your royalty check will be mailed on the 25th of each month. Should the 25th fall on a weekend or holiday, it will be mailed the day before.
  • Please notify SilverBow Resources in writing and enclose a copy of the death certificate. Requirements vary by state; therefore, upon receipt of the death certificate, the Division Order Department will contact you concerning the documentation necessary to transfer the decedent's interest to the new owner(s).
  • For an individual, please provide:

    • Copy of marriage certificate
    • Divorce decree reinstating maiden name
    • Other documentation affecting name change

    For a company or corporation, please provide:

    • Certificate of name change with verification of tax ID
    • Certificate of merger with verification of tax ID
  • Please provide the proper documents of conveyance that have been recorded in the county and state where the well(s) is located.
  • SilverBow Resources' bank will honor the check; however, if you attempt to cash the check and it is not accepted by your bank, please return the check to SilverBow Resources, and it will be issued to you in the following revenue check run.
  • Please provide copies of the proper conveyance documents establishing joint tenancy that have been recorded in the county and state where the well(s) is located.
  • Please provide a copy of the trust agreement and the proper conveyance documents from the current owner into the trust recorded in the county and state where the well(s) is located.
  • Please provide a copy of the applicable portion of the trust document that identifies the successor trustee, the duties and powers of the trustee, and the circumstances leading to the replacement of the trustee.
  • SilverBow Resources does not provide appraisals for interests. You should contact a certified petroleum engineer.
  • This is for informational purposes to provide you with the detail of the revenue activity that is being netted due to JIB expenses.
  • Unclaimed property is tangible or intangible property that is unclaimed by its rightful owner after a significant amount of time.

  • Each state has unclaimed property or escheat laws that require the reporting of funds held for its residents. Once unclaimed property has reached the state's required dormancy period, it is paid to the state of the owner's last known address.
