    Financial Analyst III

    Job Summary:

    SilverBow is seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Analyst to assist with all aspects of Finance & IR. He or she will be part of a dynamic team that plays a key role within the organization. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting complex financial analysis, forecasting, performance reporting, variance reviews and benchmarking. This individual will interact closely with the senior management and serve as a liaison for other business units. In addition to assisting with the quarterly earnings process, he or she will interface with research analysts, banking institutions, and current/potential investors to help create shareholder value. This position will report directly to the Sr. Manager – Finance & IR.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist with the short-term and long-term corporate planning efforts (capital allocation and forecasting) and monthly re-forecasting of corporate results.
    • Prepare and analyze monthly budget and forecast variances for senior management.
    • Support investor relations activities, including but not limited to corporate presentation, public guidance, earnings press release, earnings script, 10-K/Q support and website management.
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly materials for Board of Directors.
    • Perform complex financial analysis of potential acquisitions and/or financing alternatives.
    • Organize, manage, and track multiple tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environment.
    • Exercise sound judgement and clear understanding of finance and accounting concepts.
    • Work cross-functionally with other business units to accomplish objectives.
    • Handle sensitive and confidential information with honesty and integrity.
    • Address ad hoc requests other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
    • 2-5+ years’ corporate finance, investment banking or private equity experience
    • Knowledgeable of upstream oil and gas resource plays
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
    • Financial modeling/valuation experience a plus
    • Basic understanding of capital markets (debt and equity) and impact on key financial metrics
    • Prior experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, Virtua, or Workiva a plus
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States

    Engineering Analyst I


    Engineering Analyst I

    Job Summary:

    SilverBow Resources is looking for an Engineering Analyst I to perform routine tasks in support of the Planning team. These tasks may include database management, information gathering, reporting, data analysis, economic support, goal tracking, and development planning as described below. Further, this role will be the interface between the operations and finance/accounting responsibilities within the corporation. The position is responsible for continuously improving programs, processes and relationships internally and externally.

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs routine tasks in support of the Planning team and projects.
    • Report retrieval, distribution, compilation and/or transmission on a regular basis.
    • Responsible for compiling metrics as well as helping out when needed in the development of processes/procedures to support the accuracy and gathering of functional data.
    • Provide to leadership the data and data analysis required to complete management/board level reports and presentations.
    • Assist in the investigation and gathering data in support of projects; coordinate with other departments as needed.
    • Provide data to support presentations by staff.
    • Support evaluation efforts of team; work issues with staff.
    • Set-up, maintain and/or access functional data management systems /databases in a timely and accurate manner; produce reports and/or graphs as needed (monthly, quarterly and yearly basis).
    • Research and describe well histories.
    • Basic understanding and usage of economic and production tracking software.
    • Tracking of metrics, data, costs, etc.
    • May interact with other departments to obtain necessary information for approvals and for preparing and tracking AFEs and AFE Supplements.
    • Provide information as requested from outside department / team. Other duties as assigned by supervisor and assist with special projects as needed.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
    • 1-3 years of experience
    • Oil & Gas industry business analytics and operational discipline(s)
    • Basic understanding and usage of economics and production tracking software

    Job Summary:

    SilverBow Resources is looking for an Engineering Analyst III to oversee complex tasks in support of the corporate level planning roles and actions. These tasks may include database management, information gathering, reporting, data analysis, economic support, goal tracking, and development planning as described below. Further, this role will be the interface between the operations and finance/accounting responsibilities within the corporation. The position is responsible for continuously improving programs, processes and relationships internally and externally.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for compiling metrics as well as helping when needed in the development of processes/procedures to support the accuracy and gathering of functional data.
    • Provide to leadership the data and data analysis required to complete management/board level reports and presentations.
    • Periodically performs process and data audits to ensure minimum standards including core values and standards, uptime, cost management, and planning and scheduling are being achieved.
    • Assist in the investigation and gathering data in support of projects and coordinate with other departments as needed.
    • Report retrieval, distribution, compilation and/or transmission on a regular basis.
    • Interact with other departments to obtain necessary information for approvals and for preparing and tracking AFEs and AFE Supplements.
    • Provide data and information to support presentations by staff and requests from outside the department and/or team.
    • Performs a variety of complex activities as part operations.
    • Research, analyze and describe well and project histories.
    • Set-up, maintain and/or access functional data management systems /databases in a timely and accurate manner; produce reports and/or graphs as needed (monthly, quarterly and yearly basis).
    • Set-up and maintain the Budget and AFE tracking processes.
    • Prepare and present reports to management and external parties.
    • Tracking of metrics, data, costs, etc.
    • May provide mentorship, guidance and/or assistance in training of others throughout the organization.
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor and assist with special projects as needed.

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
    • 7 -10 years of experience
    • Oil & Gas industry business analytics and operational discipline(s)
    • Basic understanding and usage of economics and production tracking software
