Production Superintendent – South Texas

Job Summary:

SilverBow is looking for a Production Superintendent to supervise all production operations in South Texas, to monitor the producing wells, maximize production from these wells, and maintain efficient production costs. The selected candidate will uphold high safety standards, supervise and direct surface and subsurface maintenance, and facilitate continuous improvement in all facets of field operations.

Key Experience:

  • Experience managing/leading multiple operational leaders (supervisors & foremen)
  • History of leading at least 25 direct reports performing multiple operations activities – maintenance, well ops, measurement, instrumentation, etc.
  • Experience communicating effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, land owners and visitors
  • Experience monitoring all operated producing wells
  • Experience developing annual LOE budget and goals, monitoring performance and implementing changes when necessary
  • Experience building and designing new facilities
  • Experience in project planning and estimating
  • Experience maintaining effective scheduling and cost control within assigned field functions
  • Experience reviewing and assessing scope of authorized work and continually monitor job progress
  • Ability to delegate tasks


Responsibilities:

  • Daily interaction with field personnel, engineers, managers, gas control and HSE personnel
  • Monitor daily activities of field personnel in order to achieve maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor workovers, rod jobs, wireline operations, production testing and other activities as necessary
  • Lead root-cause failure analysis and incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Perform Job Risk Analysis for out of norm work scopes
  • Provide data and reports as required, including formal studies and evaluations, planning work, preparing schematics and other various administrative functions such as status reports, equipment evaluations or scope of work for outside contractors
  • Review project status reports and direct the resolution of operational and maintenance problems to ensure efficient spending and operations
  • Adjust work schedules, assignments, asset allocation, etc. to maintain efficient operations


Requirements:

  • 20+ years in supervisory experience in an Oil & Gas field environment
  • High school diploma


Reservoir Engineer III

Job Summary:

SilverBow Resources is looking for a Reservoir Engineer III responsible for business and reservoir management and surveillance. This role will work closely with engineering staff to optimize well and completions designs, performance and operations activities. This position will surveil production and pressure data to identify performance trends, and recommend recovery plans in coordination with operations and engineering staff. Additionally, this position will perform various business and commercial evaluations and provide surveillance of competitor activities.

Key Roles:
  • Coordination and preparation of projects for approval, implementation and execution.
  • Area, Field and well surveillance for performance and short and long term forecasting and budget preparation
  • Investigate lift performance, choke management strategies and data gathering activities
  • Business and commercial evaluations – small A&D opportunities, commercial options


Key Skills:

  • Proven track record of performance in unconventional assets
  • Solid reservoir engineering skillset (volumetrics, decline curve, log analysis, and RTA/PTA analysis)
  • Economic preparation and analysis
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-function professionals at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills including the use of OFM, Enersight, Fekete and Aries packages


Key Requirements:

  • Engineering Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years of experience including multiple years supporting unconventional assets
  • Two to five years Shale experience
  • Successful in a team environment
  • Performed at a very high level as an influencer
  • OFM experience
  • Developed or completed a field development plan

Senior Reservoir Engineering Technician

Job Summary:

SilverBow Resources is looking for a Senior Reservoir Engineering Technician responsible for providing technical support and analysis to Reservoir Engineers and multidiscipline teams. This role will work closely with engineering and operations staff to perform economic evaluations, reservoir analysis, and reports, presentations and graphics. The position will also be responsible for retrieving, processing, and analyzing technical data.

Key roles:

  • Integrate software products and data flow to optimize engineering time and technical work/recommendation quality
  • Economics analysis and sensitivities including Quality Control
  • Performance management and lookbacks on assets and areas for management review
  • Retrieve and compile technical and performance data from industry and internal production and well databases
  • Build, update and maintain presentations, daily/weekly and monthly reports, data bases, and analysis


Key Skills:

  • A Technical Degree in Math, Engineering, Geology or Science
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Reservoir Engineering Technician supporting an asset team focused on asset development and production operations
  • Must understand the fundamentals of cash flow with ability to derive operating cash flow, rate of return, discounted cash flow and other related investment metrics.
  • Power User in MS Office Suite, Enersight, OFM with a strong working knowledge of Aries and Fekete Software Suite
  • Must be a team player, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and solid communication skills.
